At 3D WAY, we approach each project individually — every idea is unique and requires custom solutions. To create this silicone mold for a decorative planter, our team began by carefully developing the concept on paper, incorporating all the client’s requests and technical requirements.

Our process:

After the concept was approved, we 3D-printed the master model using ASA — a durable, weather-resistant material.

The surface was thoroughly sanded and finished with a layer of liquid filler to eliminate even the smallest imperfections.

We then carried out the silicone casting in several stages to ensure even distribution. For this, we used Elastosil M4512, known for its durability and resistance to deformation.

Once the silicone had cured, the mold was carefully demolded.

A test casting confirmed the mold’s functionality and readiness for production use.

The result:

A high-quality, three-part silicone mold, perfectly suited for repeat use in planter manufacturing.
